45+10=1 hour (Getting Things Done)

This week I have been trying out a new approach to meetings. Instead of using up the entire time in the calendar for the meeting itself, I am trying to keep the meeting a bit shorter (45 minutes in the case of a previously 1 hour meeting). I attend an ever increasing number of webinars, web meetings, and other web this and thats. I mute my phone so any background disturbances don’t interfere. I don’t interrupt you with non-webinar related announcements while you are speaking. So, please Ms. and Mr. Presenter, turn off your email notifications and IM chats and such while you are presenting.
At the least it is disruptive...

Each year I help compile results of a survey about a specific customer base for a senior manager. And of course the findings have to be passed along to the C-suite guys in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.
